Hi Christ Gen!
In light of the recent communication from our President regarding the virus and various safety precautions being implemented by Cabinet, we want you to know that our Leadership Team has met to discuss practical implications for our operation as a church.
CHOOSE FAITH OVER FEAR
Scripture is clear that God has given us a spirit of love, not fear. Our prayer is that we would sense peace in the midst of these circumstances. Our help comes from the Lord. Ps 112:7-8 “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.” #ChooseFaithOverFear
Our church services will be streamed on Sundays at 08:00 & 10:00 until further notice, on Facebook, YouTube and our website. (The services will also be available throughout the week.) Church is still happening – just in your Homes/Small Groups/Families or as Individuals.
Small Groups may continue to meet through Zoom should they choose to do so. Please inform us if you would like to join or host a Small Group and we will send you the necessary information.
CG Kids Team is preparing material for our children to be able to engage with God and His Word at home.It will be available on our website and on youtube.
We encourage you to continue with your financial contributions to the church. You can make use of EFT payments and / or SnapScan to ensure that the monthly operating expenses can be covered.

We want to make sure you stay connected & don’t miss out on anything that God’s doing here at Christ Gen! Make sure we are friends on Facebook & Instagram and sign up for our newsletters on our website. We will provide necessary updates to you via social media and email.
We encourage you to take some time to understand proper prevention measures to avoid spreading the virus. Here are some of the basic measures:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
Be friendly and greet others with smiles and waves instead of handshakes or hugs.
STAY INFORMED. STAY CONNECTED.
We ask that you be prayerful for our world and community, specifically for those who are directly impacted by this virus.
